If you’re on our website, you know a fair bit about what happens in our centre. What the Board plans to do in future is let you in on nice things that will happen shortly or news about the centre or more detail about some of our activities.

 

For example, you may know about Bealtaine, the celebration of older people in Ireland during May each year. Did you know that our Centre is having its own event to honour older people, called Dublin in the Rare Old Times – a Reminiscence Tea Dance on Sunday, May 13th, from 2 pm to 4 pm? There’ll be music and dancing and the event will be disability friendly. Of course, refreshments will be served (it’s a Tea Dance, after all), tea and coffee, sandwiches and cake.

 

We’d love to see you there, exchanging stories of times gone by, making new friends and enjoying the company. Tickets are already on sale in the Centre café, a snip at €8 each. We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday week.
